The USS Cheyenne SSN 773, the United States Navy Improved Los Angeles Class Submarine is available as both 1/350th and 1/200th enhanced scale models. Representing the finest in master craftsmanship. built by Master Model Builders with more than 35 years individual experience. USS Cheyenne, like her sister ships the USS Columbia SSN 771 and the USS Greeneville SSN 772, incorporates Seawolf class technology and stealth into their construction.

Los Angeles class are capable of conducting intelligence gathering operations, sea denial, delivering special forces units in areas where surprise and secrecy is essential and delivery precision strikes to land based targets hundreds of miles inland.

More capable than any predecessor, she is equipped with the highly accurate AN/BSY-1 sonar and fire control system. She can be armed with sophisticated advance capability MK 48 torpedoes.

Multi-purpose Tomahawk cruise missiles can be launched from the vertical tubes located in the ship's bow or from the ship's torpedo tubes. Shown here with the upgraded Tomahawk launch option. Improved LA Class submarines include full under-ice operational capability, improved ship quieting, two towed sonar arrays and retractable bow planes.

As is suiting of a ship with such national historical significance, our realistic Los Angeles Class Submarine models are not to be compared with the machine made import versions. We build each one by hand in the USA using only professional grade materials.

Enhanced with exterior detailing including air brushed highlights including water reflections and weathering. This makes for a much more interesting model to view than just a simple single color. We use brass propellers, drive shafts, brass or stainless pedestals and more.

This model was further upgraded with two highly detailed Sea King Helicopters flying above. A variety of aircraft options are available. Notice all the great detail work on these tiny helicopters. Beautifully small and very elaborate models unto themselves.
